The undeniably talented Toni Braxton makes her way back onto the music scene with "Yesterday", the first single off her upcoming album. The video featuring Trey Songz has premiered. Peep it below and let me know what you think!

While not entirely what I was expecting, this is a nice clip to accompany the song. Toni is looking incredible and is undoubtably one of the best looking artists in the industry. Let's hope that this sparks further interest in the song and propels it up the charts. Tidbit: Brooke Hogan's appearance was rather random, but I guess she needs the promo.

Toni & Trey: Yesterday!

Toni Braxton appeared at the 2009 Soul Train Awards to perform her new single, "Yesterday" with Trey Songz. The show will air on 29 November, in the meantime peep the two at the awards show above! This will be Braxton's first live rendition of the single so I'm really excited to see this performance.

Trey Songz is really in demand at the moment! He has recently appeared on tracks from both Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey. Now, he teams up with Mary J. Blige for "Hood Love", a song said to be off Blige's new album, "Stronger". Listen to the track below and let me know what you think!

While another impressive vocal performance from Blige, I can't say I'm feeling this at all, or any of her new material for that matter. Mary needs to get back into the studio and bring us "Roses", "Grown Woman" and "Enough Cryin'" parts two.

Well, it has been confirmed. Speaking a few days ago, Toni Braxton said she would like to work with label mate Trey Songz for her upcoming album. They have reportedly completed a remix to Toni's first single off her upcoming album, "Yesterday". The remix is said to be produced by Troy Taylor (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin) and should be released soon.
