After his appearance on GMA was cancelled, Adam Lambert made up for it by performing on CBS's Early Show. Peep him performing "Whataya Want From Me" and "Music Again" from his debut album, "For Your Entertainment" which hits stores this week!

It's all about the numbers!

For any artist, first week sales are incredibly important. Over the past two weeks there have been some major album releases and we now have a few of the results.

Kris Allen - Kris Allen: 80 000

50 Cent - Before I Self Destruct: 160 000

Leona Lewis - Echo: 67 000

John Mayer - Battle Studies: 285 000

With these results, Mayer managed to top the album charts for the second time in his career.

Who knew Boyle would be an album seller? If she pulls off these numbers, she'll have the biggest first week sales for the entire year! Glambert's antics seemed to have worked in getting him a respectable debut. What albums will you be buying?

American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has been hard at work on his debut album to be released on 24 November. Lambert confirmed that the album is titled, "For Your Entertainment" and also that he has recorded a song written by Lady GaGa! The official first single for the album will debut soon.
