Official figures are in for the 2009 year in music. Overall sales are up by 2.1% on those of 2008, while album sales are down a massive 12.7%. Digital sales are up again and have managed to top over 1 billion songs. Taylor Swift comes in as the top selling artist of 2009 while Susan Boyle comes in at a close second.
